Synopsis
Episode 9 of the Hammer House of Horror tv series.
In this tense drama of temptation and terror a released convict, Chuck Spillers, befriends a kindly pet shopkeeper who used to visit him in prison. As the trust between them grows, the old man confides that he too had been in prison- a death camp in Nazi Germany. He asks him to look after the shop whilst he goes away. But the convict finds that he is caged in again for the crime of human frailty and his sentence is to be his life. His benefactor was indeed in a Nazi death camp, but he was not one of the prisoners.
