Synopsis
Newly-wed Martha Jorganson is visited by a stranger looking for her husband. Whilst waiting for him he talks about the past in which both men were in the resistance together and were the only survivors of a horrific accident. The phone rings but Martha is persuaded not to tell her husband of the visitor by a gun pointing at her head. When she replaces the receiver the visitor tells her that an informer who absconded with two million dollars deliberately caused the accident. Jorganson returns but after close, careful examination the stranger is convinced he is not the murderous traitor and leaves. Then Jorganson tells his new wife his exciting news... how he has just inherited $2m! This is a story of deception, betrayal and greed.
