Synopsis
Pel Pelham, struggling showman, has seen his best friend murdered and his latest variety act fatally poisoned. When his wife and son are viciously threatened Pel is determined to find the perpetrators and bring them to justice. Set against the background of the circus and its personalities, this is a story involving blackmail, drug running and death.
