Synposis
A publisher for a New York paper wants to publish a feature about the folly of crime. Nick recounts the life of Sidney from the cradle to his early grave. The story of a young boy's gradual decline through lack of parental control and peer pressure. With most of his friends petty criminals it is inevitable he will inherit their lifestyles. When at last the man reaches a coveted position in the underworld he is unexpectedly brought to account by a premature death, echoing the purpose of this editorial... that crime doesn't pay!
