Synposis
Newly appointed attorney decides against marriage in favour of her blossoming career and she breaks off her engagement. That night an ex-lover turns up wanting to stay the night. She acquiesces, providing he returns home the following morning to straighten things out with his girlfriend. But on his return home Peggy is found dead and boyfriend Guy is arrested on suspicion of murder. Anne, convinced of his innocence, agrees to defend him with her fiancé representing the prosecution. This drama concentrates on the conflicts of loyalty, both professional and personal, verses the pursuit of justice.
