The Saint's Return (1953)

Private Investigator Simon Templar aka 'The Saint', responding to an urgent message for help, finds the plea comes from a dead girl. Unsatisfied at her untimely 'accident' he decides to investigate further by striking a friendship with a sophisticated aristocrat who leads him into the dangerous underworld of gambling dens and extortion and introduces him to some of the most dangerous criminals in London.
