Synopsis
Homeward bound, the steam yacht 'Gelert' observes the beacon on the lighthouse of the Thimble Rock extinguished. Receiving no reply to his signals the captain decides to go onto the rock to investigate. They find the lighthouse deserted but significantly, a page for the previous day missing from the logbook and blood dripping from the ceiling. They believe that murder has occurred on the solitary outpost and aim to find out why.
