It's hard not to fall in love with Victoria Vetri watching WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH. And the blonde wig definitely works to her advantage. . .she becomes an impossibly gorgeous cavegirl and even manages to outshine Raquel Welch in ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. The stop motion animation by Jim Danforth is top notch (and a major improvement over his more uneven work on JACK THE GIANT KILLER). When it came time for Hammer to producer CREATURES THE WORLD FORGOT, I almost wish they'd scrapped the new cast and given us the further adventures of Ms. Vetri and company.
