Synopsis
Victor Frankenstein (Ralph Bates), descendant of the infamous scientist, Baron Von Frankenstein, follows in his experimental footsteps. Initially his success involves the resuscitation of a tortoise and progressing onto more ambitious projects, including creating his own monster. The gothic genre is re-worked to create a drama of black humour and farce.

A hugely enjoyable black comedy and a lot better than its reputation would suggest . People expecting a direct sequel to 'Frankenstein Must be Destroyed' would have been confused and perhaps disappointed but as a different take on the usual story it works very well .
