Synopsis
Ageing war veteran Keeble is suffering from a painful leg ailment, and is told by Dr. Bennet that he needs immediate surgery. Old Keeble, though, stubbornly refuses to be parted from his adored mongrel dog, Lancelot, and the plants and fish that are his companions in his small room in 'The Buildings'. Tired and suffering, he returns to his room, but kindly and pretty Vicky Alexander from the hospital has noticed his plight, and he soon has a visitor?
