At the time of transmission, I was quite taken with this - have always loved the melancholy raking over of the past much loved by modern police dramas. This comes across as a horror version of the American film Eddie & the Cruisers, which starred Tom Berenger. At the time, discovering what had happened to the charismatic singing brothers decades ago was an atmospheric experience, obviously enhanced by the gorgeous Linda Hayden. Watching it now, though, it's lost a bit of sparkle but still occasionally works its magic.
