Hammerweb is back, and there are some new faces behind the scenes. I'm most privileged to don the mantle of Hammer Webmaster. It is, of course, a fetching shade of black.
We bid a tearful farewell to Joe McIntyre and Simon Middleton, who did such a magnificent job of programming the site, and say hello to our new HTML boffin John Freeman.
Marcus Hearn continues as the website's editor. I first worked with Marcus when he and his co-author Alan Barnes were researching their book The Hammer Story, and I'm glad to say we're continuing our rummage through the archive to this day.
Much has changed in recent years at Hammer, and the company is now poised to return to active production after an interval of many years. Hammer chief Terry Ilott will have a regular column on this site, to provide news of development and production as it progresses. In addition to this, press releases will be delivered via the site with supporting materials.
We plan to bring to the site matters of Hammer past, Hammer present and Hammer future; but also things of gothic fantasy in general.
Any enquiries should be addressed to me at webmaster@hammerfilms.com.
As always, any news or suggestions for articles can be addressed to Marcus at marcus@hammerfilms.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Graham Skeggs
Webmaster
