Issue 15 of the Wayne Kinsey's excellent reference fanzine The House That Hammer Built is on sale in March.
The new issue includes 'Bray Studios Revisited', which goes behind the scenes at Hammer's legendary studio with former production manager Hugh Harlow. The new issue also features the second instalment of the chapter of Hammer's special effects technicians, a chapter on Hammer's stunt men (which includes a tribute to the late Eddie Powell) and the first part of a detailed look at Peter Cushing's career with the company.
This section promises previously unpublished pages from Cushing's shooting scripts, which Wayne says offer a fascinating insight to the way he prepared for his role in Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell.
The House That Hammer Built is available from Wayne Kinsey at 'Peveril', Millway, Barnby, Beccles, Suffolk NR34 7PS. Send a stamped addressed envelope for price and postage details.
