Hammer fans now not only have internet discussion groups, fan sites and HammerWeb to go to for their regular fix, but also the official Hammer Films presence on popular blog site myspace.com.
Myspace was started in 2003 as a social netorking site and was bought by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation for $580 million in 2005, and boasts the most hits of any website in the US (approx 4.5% in 2005). It hosts profiles and personal space for millions of musicians, filmmakers and individuals.
The Hammerspace (which has been available for several weeks already) will include regular information about new Hammer products, screenings and more, as well as providing a space for Hammer fans to get in touch with one another through the Add Friend option, and networking opportunities.
The service and registration is free. To add us to your myspace friends go to www.myspace.com/hammerfilms
