Hammer has acquired the remake rights to the Sweedish film Låt den rätte komma in. The original film was directed by Thomas Alfredson and won the feature prize at the recent Tribeca Film Festival.

Låt den rätte komma in is a contemporary vampire tale about a 12 year old boy who befriends a new young female neighbour.

Spitfire Pictures will produce the English-language version for Hammer under the title Let the Right One In. A writer is to be assigned shortly.  The producers are Simon Oakes, Guy East and Nigel Sinclair. Executive producers are Alex Brunner, Tobin Armbrust, John Ptak, Philip Elway and Fredrik Malmberg.
