Three classic Hammer films will make their long-awaited Region 2 DVD debuts this month. The Camp On Blood Island (cert 15), The Damned (12) and Yesterday’s Enemy (PG) will be available on 30 November.

Each film has been sourced from the Sony Pictures archive of Hammer/Columbia productions and all are presented in their longest available versions and original aspect ratios. Each disc includes a picture gallery and a 24-page illustrated booklet.

“These are three of Hammer’s most important productions,” says Marcus Hearn, who compiled the galleries and booklets for Sony. “I’m pleased to report that Sony’s transfers do the films justice – the picture quality is remarkable.”

Each disc has a RRP of £12.99 and will initially only be available from online retailers MovieMail (www.moviemail-online.co.uk), Choices (www.choicesuk.com) and Simply Home Entertainment (www.simplyhe.co.uk).
