Kinsey's Hammer

Wayne Kinsey's long running Hammer Fanzine, The House That Hammer Built, is now well into its third volume, and issue 21 has just been published. In it Kinsey continues his A-Z of Hammer actors, including an archive interview with Andrew Keir on Quatermass and the Pit. There's also the third part of his series on Bernard Robinson's set designs.

Full of rare images, the magazine costs £5.50 ($14 for US) - back issues are also available. A three-issue subscription costs £15 UK; £20.25 Eire and Europe; $36 United States; £22.50 rest of the world. All prices include p&p, and mags are posted in card reinforced envelopes. Make all money orders payable to: Wayne Kinsey, and order from Peveril, Millway, Barnby, Suffolk, NR34 7PS, UK.

Wayne Kinsey is also following up his hugely successful 2002 book Hammer Films - The Bray Studios Years (published by Reynolds and Hearn) with Hammer Films - The Elstree Studios Years. The book picks up where 'Bray Studios' left off, and promises to be bigger than the previous volume, with over 400 pages crammed with "blood rare photos". The book is being published by Tomahawk Press for release this autumn.

To register your interest in the book, go online to www.tomahawkmedia.co.uk or email them at sales@tomahawkmedia.co.uk. The publishers will keep your details and notify you when the book is available for purchase.
