House That Hammer Built # 22
Wayne Kinsey has managed to find time in his busy schedule to bring out issue 22 of British fanzine The House That Hammer Built - a tenth anniversary issue for the magazine, and a celebration of 50 years of Hammer horror. Lavishly illustrated with rare stills and from the author of the popular Hammer Films: The Bray Studios Years and Hammer Films: The Elstree Years books.
The mag is available through good comic shops (Forbidden Planet, Cinema Store, etc) or direct from Wayne Kinsey, Peveril, Millway, Barnby, Suffolk, NR34 7PS, UK.
GoreZone
This month Hammer is prominantly featured on the cover of cult-film magazine GoreZone. The December issue (#26) features images from new Hammer production Beyond the Rave on the cover and writing about the return of the house of horror inside. The GoreZone stand at the winter Memorabilia fair in Birmingham last month also featured a strong Hammer presence, with producer Ben Grass, and star Matthew Forest spending time with both the GoreZone stand and the HammerShop during the weekend.
Film Ireland
Meanwhile classic Hammer features prominantly in the November/December issue of Film Ireland, with the Irish Connection to the company under analysis by Robert J.E. Simpson.
