IMO this has to be one of Sir Christopher Lee's most underrated movies, I agree the story was a little weak and uneven "especially at the end" but his performance as Father Michael Rayner was absolutely terrifying and I think that even though Mr. Lee was wonderful as Count Dracula he's not a background character as he was as Dracula but overall this one wasn't that bad although I think what ruined it of course was the ending.
My favorite Dracula film, The scene where Sir Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing were fighting in library towards the end has to be one of the best HAMMER scenes ever!!!!
