i like this film, but i always think it could be better. kronos himself is a rather dull and not particularly likeable character, but is more than made up for by the splendid grost. best scene is the spaghetti western homage where kronos dispatches an ian hendry led trio of thugs. there is also not enough horror, though to be fair the film was only an aa cetificate. however, kronos is
quite different from any other hammer film, and the locations make anice change from black park.
the greatest mistake regarding this film is total lack of any type of attempt to integrate dracula into acontemporary setting.the count yorga films, the night stalker and even the blacula films, all do this succesfully.however,ad 72 does have some inventive moments and is certainly not dull.the ridiculous slang of the so called teenagers who all look like they went to fenn street school,is at times most amusing.for me then a definetly guilty pleasure.

gustav the cat.what a pointless waste of time.the only good thing about it is dennis price.how and why this film ever saw the light of day is beyond me.possibly the ultimate example of hammer on the decline.
